Use our dog park search engine to locate new upstarts or traditional favorite dog parks close to you. Before taking your dog to the dog park, you may want to first scope out the park itself. Check to see if it's a park mainly for big dogs or small dogs and note how crowded the park gets. This will help you choose a dog park where your dog can feel comfortable and safe roaming around and playing with other dogs. If your dog feels secure at the dog park, (s)he will get the proper amount of exercise and, thus, remain a happy, healthy member of your family!

Pueblo dedicated a large dog park in the Spring 2008. You will find it on the west side of city park, just west of the Zoo. To find it, either drive the park from East to West, and look for signs on the Left, or come in from Pueblo Blvd. at the Goodnight traffic light and go South.
The facility is between baseball fields and has controlled access to keep dogs from escaping the park. There are several picnic tables and a water fountain.

It's a shame the search only goes by cities and counties. If it had the ability to go by zip code, it would be much more useful to folks like myself who live in the huge county of Orange, ny.

There are many parks in NJ that was not listed (or I did not see it). There's one in Linden (has water fountains)behind Linden Airport; Highland Park; and South Mountain Reservation (have agility courses and separate sections for small or all dogs) just to name a few.

Please tell me more about the parks you know of in NJ. I have a small dog and he is a puppy right now. So needs lot of socializing. And I can't seem to find a dog park closer than 40 minutes from my house in Greenwood Lake.

I did a Google search for Greenwood Lake, NJ, but it only returned with Greenwood Lake, NY. Anyway, whether if you're in NJ or NY, just continue your search online. You could also go to your local pet store and ask your fellow dog owners. They may know of parks that are not listed online. You may also have to revisit that park again and ask dog owners there, if you haven't already. Hope that helps.

Currently in Ramsey, NJ due to work and I've been trying to locate a dog park but have been unsuccessful. Does anyone know of a location where we can let our two dogs run? We're getting cabin fever... :O)

Thanks

he official opening of the Joe Station Bark Park, Tulsa’s first and currently only dog park will take place Saturday, Aug. 9, at 10 a.m.

The dog park is located at 2279 Charles Page Blvd. just west of Newblock Park. It was named for one of the trolley stops previously located close to the park along the historic Interurban Line that once connected Tulsa to Sand Springs.

The dog park is located in a converted baseball field where there are two dog areas - one for large dogs and one for small dogs. There is ample parking and the park has lighting for evening romps, water pails for thirsty hounds and restrooms for handlers. Best of all - admission is free!

Many volunteers, task force members and community leaders have worked “paw in paw” to launch this great park which is sure to be the first of many in Tulsa. For more information, visit online at:

Having dogs who tend to run away when off-leash, I appreciate knowing about parks which are fenced.
