Dog Booster Shots

Once a dog is vaccinated for rabies, how often does it have to get a booster shot? (I guess that's what a dog's consecutive shots are called.)

The first rabies vaccine is usually good for one year; thereafter you may opt of the 3 year or if available by your vet 5 year rabies vaccine. However, this should be discussed directly with your vet as certain medical conditions and/or other issues should be addressed when considering any vaccination routine.
